Hello!  I have been an artist since before I could read and write. The path I've walked has been quite the interesting little road! Scribbling with crayons in the playroom turned into doodling with gel-pens in middle school. Taking a few art classes at community college turned into getting my BFA in Illustration at university. Working as a digital painter in home decor morphed into learning traditional oil painting. Teaching fundamentals and directing creative programs across multiple studios has evolved into my own painting practice from the comfort of my apartment!

Creative side-quests are always in my rotation, and I've worked hard to stay open and curious about new opportunities as they appear to me. Learning from experience that wings grow fast if you can commit to jumping I now encourage others to view their lives as a blank canvas; full of possibility, open for interpretation, tough enough to handle what's next, and always able to be wiped down and restarted with a fresh vision!

I paint moments of daily life as I see them and remember them. My style is representational and I mostly work in oil paint. I have sold paintings across the country and I love helping people collect custom art that is just right for their homes and spaces.

I currently reside in Dallas, TX with my amazing and supportive husband, who loves me tirelessly and is always up for a last-minute trip to whatever museum I need to go to today because I forgot when that one exhibit closes.
